Michele Pierro

Michele g. Pierro, executive vice President

Michele acts as IAG’s research and project supervisor. As Michele completes her 20th year at IAG, she continues to head policy searches for hundreds of corporate, municipal and non-profit clients working in field sites across the United States.

Michele has developed a specialization in the domestic and London insurance markets where brokers often hold the key to reconstructing lost coverage. Years of experience enable her to decipher the London market participants which is often critical to the task of documenting proof of historic coverage. Michele employs IAG’s extensive contacts to identify the merger and acquisition history of scores of legacy brokers, both in the US and UK.

Including her tenure with IAG, Michele has over 40 years experience in the property and casualty insurance field. As an account manager with Corroon & Black Company of New York, prior to joining IAG, she managed insurance programs for Fortune 500 companies and major financial institutions.

A popular writer and speaker on the subject of insurance archaeology, Michele has addressed numerous insurance, legal and corporate audiences and is the author of several articles and formal papers, focusing on the latest methodologies employed in historic insurance reconstruction. Michele holds a B.S. in Public Policy from St. Peters College and is a member of the Association of Professional Insurance Women.
